Vermilion Lakes offer fantastic views of Mount Rundle and Sulphur Mountain, two iconic peaks on the edge of the Town of Banff. Throughout the year, sulphur hot spring water is forced through the layered rock from deep below. The result are a series of reflective pools which persist frigid winter temperatures. This long exposure image smooths the water and clouds, exposing for the flow of time.
